The Experiential Learning and Leadership (ExLL) Program is a 6-month paid internship designed for current students and alumni. Its primary purpose is to provide valuable work experience and leadership opportunities. Participants will apply their skills and knowledge acquired from Calbright programs to support fellow students, programs, and staff.
Participants can choose between two roles:
Peer Tutors: With advisement and mentoring from the program coordinator of the academic support center and faculty mentor, peer tutors provide mentoring and content tutoring support for current students. Peer tutors must demonstrate program knowledge and proficiency with Calbright’s online tools. Peer tutors host workshops, provide 1 on 1 tutoring support, answer student questions on Slack, and provide as-needed tutoring support to their peers.
Student Ambassadors: Student Ambassadors work with program coordinators across Calbright to increase student engagement and promote awareness of services and resources through outreach and support.
